October Coffee Talk

Wednesday 6th October: Steve Sheppard – 10:30 for 11am

Join us to hear Steve Sheppard talking about his two comedy spy thrillers; ‘A Very Important Teapot’ (Claret Press, October 2019) and its just published sequel, ‘Bored to Death in the Baltics’.

Steve will talk about writing “the sort of stuff he likes to read” (and therefore hopes others will too), about finally being published at the age of 66 (and therefore about never giving up) and about how a long-remembered phrase and a visit to the Yackandandah Folk Festival in Australia in early 2017 came together to result in ‘A Very Important Teapot’.

Coffee & tea will be served from 10.30am and the talk will begin promptly at 11am. The talk will take place at Kennington Village Centre (i.e. the library) & is free of charge but donations are always welcome.
